The first McKenna’s shoe shop was opened by my father in 1953 with stores in Blackrock and Chadstone.

In 1992, my wife and I opened our own McKenna’s Shoes in the Malvern where it is still standing 25 years later.

McKenna’s Shoes sells men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and stocks quality brands such as Ara, Rieker, Rockport, Merrell and Ecco to name a few. We stock an excellent range of school shoes all year, not just at the peak back-to-school time of January. Many clients also come to us for our excellent range of smart, light-weight and comfortable shoes that are perfect for travelling.

My team takes great pride in providing a properly fitting shoe. “I feel that I’ve got the best customers in the world. They are pleasant and grateful for the good service that we offer, which in turn encourages our staff to always strive to meet the highest standard in care and to meet the needs of our clients. It’s win-win.” We have built a great rapport with families by fitting shoes for children throughout their school years. We then go on to sell fashion and comfort shoes to these young adults in their post-school days and look forward to continuing with our service as they enter every stage of life, ultimately returning with their own children for their first school shoe fitting.
